We are the longest standing 10 mile road race in Canada!
The Fire Fighters Ten Mile Road Race Committee respectfully acknowledges that we live, work, train, and run on the traditional lands of the Anishnabek Nation and the traditional territory of Fort William First Nation, signatory to the Robinson-Superior Treaty of 1850.
We are grateful to all who have cared for this land and recognize our responsibility to honour, respect, and steward it in partnership with Indigenous peoples today and for generations to come.

Adaptive Racing

The Fire Fighters Ten Mile Road Race is proud to introduce Adaptive and Para Athlete Race Categories, expanding our commitment to inclusion, safety, and community spirit. These categories are designed to support athletes with a range of abilities while ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate fully and confidently.
Para Athletes will now be able to register in one of three categories:
- Visually Impaired Athlete
- Autonomous Athlete with Assistance
- Wheelchair Athlete

Our 2026 Charity Partner is Isthmus
For the 90th Fire Fighters Ten Mile Road Race, we're proud to support Isthmus, a local charity feeding Thunder Bay children on weekends when school meals are not available.
- 100% of donations stay local.
- Donation is OPTIONAL during race registration.
- If you donate during our race registration, it will be donated to Isthmus Thunder Bay.
