The 74th. running of the FireFighters 10 Mile Road Race in Thunder Bay, Ontario, was a huge success with over 700 runners crossing the finish line to the cheers of hundreds of spectators. Since 1910, the 10 Mile Road Race has promoted a "healthy and clean sport at the head of the lakes". See our history page for a review of what makes this event the race of the year. Through the years many sponsors have come forward to keep this race 'running' on the long weekend in May. It continues to be a premier sporting event that is open to all runners who are ready to challenge themselves over 10 miles. Please join us May 19, 2008 as we celebrate the 75th. running and be a part of the rich history and tradition that makes this event so special.
