May 24, 2010 is the 100th Birthday of this, the 2nd oldest 10 mile road race in Canada
The 76th running of the FireFighters 10 Mile Road Race presented by Half Way Motors Nissan in Thunder Bay, Ontario, was a huge success with a record number of runners (almost 900) crossing the finish line to the cheers of hundreds of spectators. Thanks to all the runners, volunteers and sponsors who made this year's event so memorable. Check out how everyone did on our results page. See our history page for a review of what makes this event the race of the year. Through the years many sponsors have come forward to keep this race 'running' on the long weekend in May. It continues to be a premier sporting event that is open to all runners who are ready to challenge themselves over 10 miles.
