Volunteers

You'd probably be astounded to know the CRITICAL ROLE that volunteers play in making the Ten Mile Road Race happen every year.

This year, we're looking for volunteers in a variety of areas, both on and off the course, including:

  • Traffic and spectator control
  • Water stations
  • Race packet pick-up
  • Finish area activities
  • Plus many more areas

Being a volunteer has its PERKS.

There's that great looking volunteer t-shirt that testifies to the contribution you make.  And there's the volunteer appreciation banquet to recognize your accomplishments, and get to know fellow members of the volunteer team.  You're helping promote a healthy, fit community and you're helping attract visitors who stimulate jobs and our economy.

When you volunteer on the course you're in the thick of the action and experience the race in a unique way.  There are hundreds of personal dramas unfolding as runners strive to achieve their goals, and you've got a front row seat.

Volunteering is a great way to support your community, and help fellow runners get the most out of the Ten Mile Road Race.  Runners genuinely appreciate the support you provide, knowing that the race could not be the success it is, without you.
